This three-day educational event is aimed at up and coming greenkeepers who are focused on making the career leap to Head Greenkeeper or Course Manager. Focusing on personal and professional development, the FTMI programme utilises the expertise of respected course managers, cross-industry training specialists and industry experts to mentor and educate the next generation of industry leaders.
Following an intesive three days Sam Evans, Deputy Head Greenkeeper at Oakland Park Golf Club said, "This was a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants to make that move up to Course Manager. I feel I have met life long acquaintances, which will undoubtedly help me in the future. I have learned so many new skills that I can apply to the workplace, especially the presentation skills."
Richard Sheldon, First Assistant at Stonebridge Golf Club added, "I applied to be part of FTMI to learn skills for becoming a Course Manager that would be difficult to obtain from elsewhere and it beat my expectations by far. A great three days, where we were brilliantly looked after from start to finish. Best of all we received priceless education and information to help us move forward in our careers."
