Google Street View spots lawnmower thieves . . . from 3 years ago!
Police in Denmark have found a new clue in an unsolved lawnmower theft from 2012 - on Google Street View!
South Jutland Police in Rinkenaes shared the photo on Twitter recently of two thieves stealing a ride-on.
They Tweeted, "Fantastic! A Google photo shows two thieves in action in Rinkenaes near Grasten. Who are they?"
Surprisingly, these Sherlock-style detective skills of looking up the location of a crime which occured three years ago on an iPhone, have yet to pay off.
The police issued a further Tweet saying their attempts to enlist Google to help identify the men had thus far proved unfruitful.
