B&S HAVE EYE ON ACQUISITIONS Executive appointment in U.S
Briggs & Stratton Corp. in the U.S said this week that it has hired Shaunna Balady as vice president of corporate development, leading the company's mergers and acquisitions team, it was reported by the Milwakee Business Journal.
Balady will also lead strategic planning activities for the Wauwatosa-based manufacturer.
"Shaunna brings unique technical and operational background strength to Briggs & Stratton and she will be instrumental in executing the company's strategy to invest and grow in geographic expansion," said Todd Teske, chairman, president and CEO of Briggs & Stratton.
Balady most recently served as business development leader at GE Home & Business Solutions. She also served in strategic planning and acquisition positions at Rockwell Automation and CNH Global. Over her career, she has led and completed more than 30 transactions, which include product, service and software-related deals.
