Commercial customers are increasingly looking for solutions that offer higher productivity and lower operating costs with the added benefits of excellent manoeuvrability. Husqvarna has acted on end user and dealer demand and added improved efficiency and productivity to the already proven P 524 commercial front mower. The NEW Petrol powered P 524 EFi is part of the Husqvarna commercial P 500 series which also includes the diesel powered P 520D and range topping P 525D. All 3 models are designed to offer your customers increased efficiency in complex areas through superior manoeuvrability, excellent accessibility and control with the front mounted cutting decks and all-terrain performance with their AWD transmissions.

The P 524 EFi is designed for a range of applications including commercial and high-end domestic use. The compact platform and high efficiency V-Twin petrol engine make the machine capable of handling larger open spaces through to tight and complex areas that demand high manoeuvrability.

The new model is an upgrade on the P 524 and includes an advanced Kawasaki FX Twin Electronic Fuel injection (EFi) engine that increases the productivity of this model whilst also providing lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions. The machine has exceptional handling and accessibility reducing the need for follow up work with a trimmer or pedestrian mower, ensuring optimum productivity.

There are a number of key benefits to the new P 524EFi model:

• Increased power and torque – meaning no engine drop, better performance and improved productivity
• Reduced fuel consumption – meaning lower operating costs
• Reduced emissions – meaning improved working conditions and the ability to work in emissions sensitive areas.

Husqvarna tested the new P 524EFi against the standard P 524 in tough cutting conditions. The engine on P 524EFi did not stall or droop and in the same time frame, the P 524 EFi cut more than twice the area compared to P 524. The P 524 EFi has an automotive style fuel injection system that controls the engine revolution, resulting in less drop in engine speed when exposing the engine for load. This means the blade speed is maintained and the operator is able to keep a high ground speed instead of slowing down, resulting in improved performance and productivity.

The NEW P 524 EFi commercial front mower will be available from late May.
