MID POWER WIN FOR MASSEY
Prize at SIMA show
Massey Ferguson's MF 6718 S tractor was voted Machine of the Year in the mid-power tractor category at the SIMA show in Paris this week.
Thierry Lhotte, Vice President and Managing Director, Massey Ferguson Europe and Middle East said he is thrilled to receive this accolade. "It is a real honour to have this tractor recognised in this way. I am extremely proud of the whole team at Beauvais who have designed and built this tractor and contributed to its success. "At 200hp the MF 6718 S is the most powerful four cylinder tractor on the market," he continued. "It is truly unique in offering the highest power from a four cylinder engine, while delivering the torque of a six cylinder. This also makes it the most manoeuvrable 200hp tractor available." Campbell Scott, Massey Ferguson's Director Marketing Services, adds the S Effect in the tractor's most modern design means the MF 6718 S offers improvements in every area. "It follows Massey Ferguson's pioneering powerful, light weight and compact approach, which makes it just as capable of handling heavy draft operations or top work out in the fields as it is in the yard on loader duties. "The exceptional power to weight ratio of the MF 6718 S means it is especially suited to transport duties. Combined with its remarkable payload for its size it is a very powerful performer on the road," he adds.
