Following a recent internal move within the organisation a vacancy now exists for an Area Sales Manager to work with the Dealer network across Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire.
This role is home based, working closely with our Dealers across the territory to develop business opportunities by providing commercial and technical advice and supporting Dealer events, shows and open days. The role involves extensive travel to develop the STIHL business in the region.
The successful candidate must be a sales professional with the following skills and competencies:
Previous sales experience, developing new and existing business opportunities across a distribution network
Commercial drive and acumen to deliver results in a competitive environment, achieving or exceeding challenging sales and productivity targets.
Ideally, experience of working in a product-orientated environment; with a knowledge of power tools or a mechanical/engineering aptitude.
Excellent sales and communication skills including influencing and negotiation.
Fully IT literate in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Full UK driving licence
