Area Business Manager (ABM) North East & East
This role forms part of the Husqvarna UK field sales team, managing the specialist garden machinery dealer network across a specified regional territory.
Key Responsibilities; - Implement company sales and marketing strategies within the territory
- Achieve sales turnover and margin budget (target) for the territory
- Manage and grow the dealer accounts within the territory
- Manage the dealer network within the Selective Distribution agreement (SELDIS)
- Achieve width and depth of all product categories within the dealer network
- Manage trade marketing activities to encourage sell-through within the dealer network
- Manage dealer payment behaviour within Accounts Receivable Dept guidelines
- Gather market and competitor intelligence
Skills required; - Applicants must be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve
- A team player who is able to work independently and has a self-starter attitude
- Excellent communication skills and relationship builder
- Commercially astute, numerate and with an appreciation for pricing, costs and profitability
- Shows initiative and a desire for development
- Previous sales and account management experience
- Computer literate using Microsoft Packages
- Full UK driving licence
