With expansive areas devoted to live demonstrations of machinery and equipment, plus new ‘on the showground’ features – including one-to-one expert advice on turf and groundscare issues - and workshop-style debates featuring award-winning grounds professionals, this year’s SALTEX show (Windsor Racecourse, September 3-5) is promising a host of value-added benefits for exhibitors and visitors alike.
According to event director Jon Gibson: “Plans are taking shape to create features that will appeal to every industry sector – landscaping, play and arboriculture as well as sports surfaces – to enable visitors from every corner of the industry to maximise the benefit of visiting SALTEX.”
This year’s event will address the needs of the entire open space industry, he adds, through a host of new attractions, including:
Hundreds of relevant products and services will be on view, dozens of them being shown for the first time and many in real-life working scenarios in the Demonstration Zone
Groundscare experts from across professional sports will be on hand every day to answer visitor questions
The new Seeds, Turf, Aggregates & Treatments (STATS) Zone will bring together the very best suppliers of turf science products, and
Focused workshops will run every day offering industry-leading opinions and guidance on a varied programme of open space industry topics.
