COPING WITH SLOPES 2
BALI-NCF to hold another training event

After the resounding success of the first BALI-NCF Coping with Slopes event held in October 2014 there has been a large number of requested for a second event to be held.

Therefore BALI-NCF will be hosting another health and safety led event investigating the risks and different methods involved in vegetated embankment management on Thursday March 26th.

Severn Trent have again granted BALI access to the large reservoir embankments at Draycote Water, one of the largest reservoirs in the Midlands. The picturesque site boasts some considerable grass embankments and will be a testing ground for a range of specialised machinery. This will be a great opportunity for grounds maintenance and landscape contractors to benchmark a range of machinery. Local authority managers could gain a valuable understanding of embankment management.

A range of product manufacturers and technical specialists including the HSE will also be available to discuss vegetation and machinery management issues.

If your business requires technical information, is considering buying embankment machinery, or you just want to attend to network with a range of industry professionals, book now!

Event features:

  • A range of embankment machinery demos
  • Technical specialists available to provide best practice advice
  • HSE Amenity Specialist Speaker
  • The event is open to all, with reduced price tickets for BALI members.

To book your place contact Emily Feeney on emily.feeney@bali.org.uk or 0247 669 0333
*Please note that all tickets are on a first come first served basis with a maximum of 80 places.
