Mechanics David Gollins and Matthew Heyward joined thousands of fans at the event at Silverstone on September 1 after their employer Ashley Mowers, of Altrincham, Cheshire, was successful in the promotion held by NGK Spark Plugs.
The competition was open to Henton & Chattell trade dealers who purchased NGK spark plugs in a special promotion to be entered into a prize draw.
Ashley Mowers is owned and run by husband and wife team Nigel and Liz Wright. Nigel said: “Both the lads are bike enthusiasts and really enjoyed the MotoGP. We always use NGK spark plugs and never have a problem with them so it was great to win the Henton & Chattell promotion.”
It is the second time this year Henton & Chattell has held a promotion with NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, recently running one for customers to win tickets to this year’s 2013 British Formula One Grand Prix.
Lee Lewing, Internal Sales Manager for the Nottingham based company, said: “It was a very successful promotion which generated a lot of interest amongst our customers and we are already working on further promotions with NGK over the coming months.”
