Natural and artificial sportsground contractors White Horse Contractors are pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Kneller as their new Managing Director.

Gary originally joined the company as a graduate in 1994 and worked his way up through the company under the guidance of the then MD Johan Koster and then further developed with Robert Donald.

After 10 years with the company, he left to further his career, gaining a wealth of experience in both Natural and Artificial Turf. This experience combined with his knowledge of the 'White Horse Way' made him the ideal candidate to take over the reins.

"I was very honoured to be asked to take up the role, and help to maintain the excellent reputation that the organisation has gained during its 56 years, although we cannot rest on this and must adapt to meet the demands of the current and future sports and leisure market," said Gary.

"It was good to see that the core values of the company are still in place and it was an easy choice to make to re-join the team. We have an exceptional pool of talent from the continued presence of Johan Koster to the new, fresh input from James Welsh."
