BOSCH MOWER WINNER PRESENTED
Prize will help maintain heritage railway

Heritage railwayman, John Castle has won a magnificent new professional lawnmower in a recent giveaway by The Sun newspaper.

Gonzalo Brey of Bosch Lawn & Garden Power Tools, winner John Castle, Jonathan Harrison of Rochford’s and Steve and Val Bradley.

As a self-proclaimed ‘train buff’ and volunteer for West Somerset Railway (which runs from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard), Mr Castle will be using the £2000 Bosch GRA 53 professional mower to keep the verges trim and tidy at stations along the line after his lucky winning card was drawn from a large pool of deserving entries – over 1,800,000 readers were reached by the competition’s launch.

Presented in Taunton with his prize by Steve and Val Bradley, with Gonzalo Brey of Bosch Lawn & Garden Power Tools, and Jonathan Harrison of local agent, Rochford’s Garden Machinery, John said “I’m very involved with steam trains and heritage railways.

“It’s good to be able to help keep stations looking attractive for the many people who visit every year and keep these lovely old trains running.”
