This year, Husqvarna, one of the world’s leading producers of forest, park and garden products, celebrate the 30th anniversary of its out front ride-on mower concept, the Husqvarna Rider.

The unique concept which first hit the market back in 1987 has grown strongly, hitting a number of major milestones including the sale of Husqvarna’s half millionth Rider in 2015 and all-time record sales in 2016. The Rider concept has introduced a number of key innovations including the articulated steering system which has been ever present since the first model was launched.

The key to the Husqvarna Rider's continuing success lies in its superior performance, thanks to the combination of the articulated steering system and the front-mounted cutting deck. The Husqvarna Rider also provides an extensive selection of models, ranging from occasional use by homeowners, to heavy professional use. A wide range of add-on attachments for all seasons means the Rider range is versatile and are true all-year round machines making them a favourite for both dealers and end users. To mark the 30-year milestone, Husqvarna has launched a NEW all-wheel drive Rider anniversary model - the Husqvarna R 214T AWD. The high specification model designed for demanding domestic and landowner use offers a high capacity V-Twin engine, all-wheel drive transmission and choice of 94 or 103cm cutting widths.

Another milestone for the Husqvarna Rider range in 2017 is a NEW 3 year manufacturer’s warranty across the range. The additional 1 year extension to the standard 2 year warranty (excluding professional use) is designed to drive additional service revenue through the authorised Husqvarna Dealer Network. The extended warranty is reinforced by a NEW Rider Welcome Pack and Service Book designed to strengthen the relationship between customer and dealer and encourage annual service, whilst retaining the premium experience for your customers.
