BARRUS UNVEIL NEW PRODUCTS
Different styling and features on Cub Cadet tractors

OVER 240 dealers and guests attended the three-day E P Barrus Dealer Conference this week held in the imposing setting of the Heythorp Park Hotel and Resort near Oxford.

Martin Wasley, Sales and Technical Manager and his team unveiled over 25 new products or product improvements for the 2107 season, notably a complete restyling and reworking of the Cub Cadet lawn tractor range which are being given a squarer and very different look to previous models.

There are also new models in the Barrus ZTR range which the company is now splitting into domestic and commercial products category with separate terms for dealers stocking and selling the heavy duty machines.

Also making a re-appearance was a range of walk-behind rotaries, powered by Loncin engines, carrying the Mow Master branding last used by Barrus some 20 years ago.

After an extensive walk-through of the huge garden machinery line-up along with the Wolf Tool range, dealers were given an opportunity to drive and test the new machines, many of which were still in the prototype stage.

A fuller report and pictures of the Barrus launch will appear in the next issue of Service Dealer magazine.
