Rees Agri Equipment, based at Station Road, Three Cocks, Brecon, Powys, has been appointed to serve central Wales and the Herefordshire borders for Spread-a-Bale by manufacturers Thos Storey Fabrications Ltd.

Rees Agri is a Claas dealer and also holds franchises for Teagle, Chilton, Conor, Foster and Bailey.

Brian Rees says he is excited to be adding the machine to the range of franchises his company represents:

"We believe there will be a healthy market for it in this region. Many ofthe livestock units in the region are starting to use telehandlers, which are ideal for working the Spread-a-Bale.

"Also much more of the straw being supplied to these farms is coming in square bales, which cannot be rolled out by hand, which may force some farmers to reconsider how they bed down their livestock".
