TRACTOR SALES SLOW UP But still ahead of this time last year
According to figures released by the AEA, UK Agricultural Tractor Registrations for June 2017 totalled 1038 units which is a +3.1% change compared with June 2016.
Year to Date registrations now total 6,142 units which is a +14.1% change compared with January-June 2016.
Stephen Howarth, Agricultural Economist for the AEA said, " UK agricultural tractor registrations (over 50hp) were again slightly ahead of last year's level in June, at 1,038 units. This was 3% more than in the same month last year, which might be regarded as a positive result given the uncertainty caused by the General Election result and the start of Brexit negotiations.
"After a very strong first quarter, growth has slowed but the total for the first half of the year was still 14% up year on year, at 6,142 units."
