SUCCESS FOR STM DEALERS
With SCAG Giant Vac

STM report that their dealers are finding good sales with the Giant-Vac range of debris collectors and blowers.

Top of the list of successes, they say, is the Yard-Vac vacuum unit, with sales reported at each end of the UK.

In the South, dealers M & S have sold three units; one of their biggest commercial customers have supplemented their existing fleet of SCAG mowers with a Yard-Vac for maintaining their site. Secondly a large international removals company has just taken delivery of a similar machine for keeping the yard tidy at one of their branches, and, to complete the hat trick, the sports ground at a prestigious local school have one for maintaining the outer areas on the playing fields.

Yard Vac

Meanwhile in Scotland, Kenny Hunter of Fraser C. Robb demonstrated a Yard-Vac to a potential customer who hadn't been happy with a competitor's machine. Kenny said, "The machine worked well. I demonstrated it in pouring rain and was very pleased to see it collected every soaking wet leaf. Paper and plastic bottles were soon flying up the suction head.

"A problem we had experienced with the competitor's product was that debris was escaping out of the poorly devised collection bag. The YV14 has the most efficient collection bag I've experienced and the system for emptying it could not be simpler.

"The YV14 demonstration machine was sold right there."
