The range of high capacity bale handers and wrappers equipment made by the
Anderson Group, Quebec, Canada, will now be marketed in the UK by
D Clifford & Sons, based at East Bridgford, Nottinghamshire.
Andersons In-LineWrapperAndersons makes a range of bale accumulators and wrappers, alongside other biomass balers and trailers widely used in forestry and related industries.
For the UK market it is initially introducing the StackPro square bale accumulator; the TRB round bale accumulator and the company’s In-line bale wrapper, which can wrap either round or square bales in a continuous tube.
D Clifford & Sons was established in the 1970s by Derek Clifford, and is now run by his sons John and Chris along with other family members and a team of four further staff.
The company is based at East Bridgford, Nottingham, from where it offers a full range of contracting services across the East Midlands.
John Clifford says the Andersons range will suit the needs of busy British contractors and farmers. “The design and build quality are both impressive, and ensure Andersons machines offer users long, trouble-free working lives during which they will require minimum maintenance.
“The StackPro is primarily a contractors’ machine that can collect up to 16 large square bales and leave them in a six high stack. The TRB can collect up to 20 bales each trip, while the In-Line Wrapper will interest both farmers and contractors with significant numbers of bales to handle”.
The machines will be shown to farmers for the first time at the
Midlands Machinery Show, at Newark Showground on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th November.
Todd McMyn, Sales Director for Andersons, says, "We are planning several new product launches in the future, and will be holding seminars to introduce farmers to our machines and philosophy. We are introducing three products to the UK initially, but we have range of other products for use across farming, the bio-fuels industry and forestry”.
