GREENMECH APPOINT ORANGE PLANT
As a regional dealer

Manufacturer of wood chippers and green waste shredders, GreenMech Ltd, has announced the appointment of Orange Plant as a regional dealer.

Joanna Chapman (MD) and Keith Hutchinson of Orange Plant together with Martin Lucas of GreenMech

Newcastle-upon-Tyne based Orange Plant currently has seven depots around the country engaged in the sale and hire of arboricultural equipment and has grown rapidly since its inception 10 years ago. Both companies see this carefully thought out link-up as a major step in the growth plans each has in place.

"Since 2001 we've been exclusive to Timberwolf products," said Joanna Chapman, Orange Plant's MD, "but whilst we'll continue to carry their machines in our fleet, and provide service support to machines we've sold into the market, we decided to switch to the GreenMech brand. The innovation they've brought to the industry will see new markets opening up for us."

Keith Hutchinson, General Manager of Orange Plant agreed, "We spent a year evaluating their product range. What attracted us to GreenMech initially was the level of innovation in their machines, especiallythe performance and reliability."

Currently Orange Plant not only sells Wood Chipping, Shredding & Stump Grinding machinery but also operates a fleet for the hire market with in excess of 150 wood chippers alone.

Signing the agreement on behalf of GreenMech was their Sales Director, Martin Lucas. "This is a significant step for us," he said. "In Orange Plant we have a company with vast experience in the Arb market that can help us design tomorrows' machines that will bring additional benefits to Tree Surgeons, Contractors, Groundsman and Local Authorities."
