LOWEST MARCH TRACTOR SALES SINCE 2016
Year to date down too

Low March tractor registrations

According to figures released by the AEA, the total registrations of new agricultural tractors in the UK during March 2025 was down by nearly a quarter, compared with the same month last year.

Agricultural economist at the Association, Stephen Howarth, points out that March is usually the peak month for registrations, and says it looks like this year is no exception. With 1,466 machines logged it's the most in any month since the same time last year. It was also the lowest figure for the time of year since 2016.

Stephen confirmed, "That meant the total number of tractors registered in the first quarter of 2025 was the lowest since 2001, reaching 2,228, 23% lower than in January to March 2024."
