An East Yorkshire farm machinery importer has further consolidated its partnership with Polish manufacturing company, Unia, by launching its RCW Spreader in the UK.

Market Weighton based Manterra Ltd. is the sole UK importer for Unia Group and the RCW is the latest addition to Manterra's growing range and complements the Unia MXL fertiliser and Apollo manure spreaders that were launched earlier in the year.

The RCW Plus is a trailed fertiliser and lime spreader that features a hydraulic drive belt conveyor, border spread limiter and folding hopper cover plus mechanically driven spinning discs.

Of the launch of the Unia RCW Plus spreader, Manterra founder, farmer and agronomist Andrew Manfield said: "I'm anticipating that the RCW will be very popular. We have been delighted with the build quality and performance of all of the Unia machines that we have tested so far."

Founded in 1882, Unia Group employs 1350 people at its five manufacturing sites in Poland and France and exports to over 60 countries. It produces 25,000 machines per annum.
