ROBOMOW STAR IN BBC2 SHOW
Back in Time for the Weekend

As the 2016 growing season gets underway, Robomow has put robotic lawnmowers in the spotlight, with an appearance on popular BBC 2 show Back In Time For The Weekend.

Back In Time For The Weekend

The programme, which follows the other successful Back In Time programmes Back In Time For Dinner, and Back In Time For Christmas tackles how we spend our free time, showing the Ashby Hawkins family revamping their lives and their home to experience a different decade each week.

Starting with the ‘thrift and formality’ of the 50s, the series ended with a look at how we might spend our time in the future - including using a Robomow to save time and maintain a healthy lawn. Rather than spending 1.5 hours cutting and edging the grass, as he did in the 60s, Rob said the Robomow edged the grass for him and he acknowledged the time it could save, allowing him to sit back and relax on the sofa, or even go out, while the hard work was done for him.

Mower Magic is the UK’s sole UK distributor of the Robomow. John Hall, Managing Director, said: “Robotic lawnmowers are becoming increasingly popular as people realise how quickly, easily and efficiently they do they job. The launch of Robomow’s 2016 series represents this demand and is the best range yet.

“The appearance on Back in Time For The Weekend only serves to reinforce the growth of the market and our confidence that robotic lawnmowers are set to play an integral part in the gardens of the future.”
