Briggs & Stratton launch lawn competition
Each year, Briggs & Stratton searches to find Britain’s Best Lawn. Britain's Best LawnThe competition, in its eleventh year, is now open for 2016 entries and Briggs & Stratton, along with the lead sponsor of Britain’s Best Lawn 2016, Hayter Lawnmowers, is looking for passionate and dedicated gardeners who maintain their lawn to the highest standard. Ian Small, sales and marketing manager for Briggs & Stratton, commented: “Britain’s Best Lawn is open to everyone, no matter how big or small their lawn. It’s not about the size, it’s about the quality and the dedication that goes into maintaining it. “Lawns are increasingly under threat, yet they have endless benefits not just for the environment but also for physical health and mental well-being. That is why we want to do all we can preserve and celebrate lawns - Britain’s Best Lawn has been our way of doing that for the past eleven years.” Past winners of Britain’s Best Lawn have spent up to 10 hours per day maintaining their lawn in peak season, with one even manicuring the edges with nail scissors! Not only will the winner receive the prestigious title but first prize also includes a prize bundle worth over £1000 to help the winner maintain their award winning lawn. The winner will receive a Platinum Limited Edition Harrier 41 Autodrive lawnmower, as well as a selection of lawncare tools from Wilkinson Sword, and a £150 voucher to spend in their local garden centre. Two runners up will each receive a Toro leaf blower and a £100 garden centre voucher. To enter the competition, and to find out more information, visit http://www.britainsbestlawn.co.uk/.
