Story

What have we done?

At the end of October the staff at STIGA Ltd cycled over 600 miles for Mike and raised an incredible sum of money - but NOW we want to raise even more and have set ourselves a new target of £5,500.00! - Step up the lads from the Warehouse with yet another challenge .

What is the next challenge?

Robert, one of the Warehouse lads takes pride in all that he picks, packs and wraps and gets out of the door for all our lovely customers. He also takes pride in his hair!

As you can see he has a staggering 24 inches of hair - and is prepared to 'CHOP THE MOP' if we can reach our new target of £5,500 by 29th November.

Not only is Robert willing to take up this challenge for an amazing colleague, but is also going to donate his hair to another charity afterwards.

Why are we doing this?

Mike, our friend & colleague suffered a life changing injury in May 2018 following a cycling accident. The great news is that since we started this challenge Mike has been able to return home to live with his family, however, without a specially adapted car he will be unable to get out and about. A Motability car will give him and his family a greater quality of life.

Mike's story is quite unique, when he had his accident he was actually raising money for a local hospice. Despite all of his injuries Mike's sense of humour and outlook on life is inspirational. Whilst we can't help Mike walk again we hope that the money we raise will help him navigate life in a wheelchair and improve the quality of life for him, his wife Sharon and son Max.

Please support us - even a few pennies will soon add up.

Thank You
