New features as readership grows

Now over 5 years old, the Service Dealer Weekly Update Newsletter has gone from strength to strength. Delivered every Friday at lunchtime to more than 2600 industry subscribers, the newsletter is averagely opened and read by over 55% of recipients, a figure way, way above the national average for e-mail communications.
We know of many readers who grab a coffee and a bite on Friday lunctime and wait for the Service Dealer Newsletter to pop into their in-box to provide the usual mix of industry news, views and opinion.
And it is highly effective. The owner of one company whose products we featured recently described the response as 'staggering'.
A word on content The purpose of the newsletter is provide news of industry happenings, dealer news, appointments, market information, people, opinion and often a light-hearted story. And because we want to make it as readable as possible, we limit the amount of news items each week to around 12 or 14 (never 13!). But we also know that manufacturers and suppliers do want to get information on new or revamped products out to the market.
We are therefore adding two new sections from this week. EVENTS (information on forthcoming industry shows, open days or similar) and SPONSORED ANNOUNCEMENTS (information on products launches, new models, promotions etc).
Not forgetting of course, our popular JOBS section which provides a direct link from the reader back to you or your HR team.
