BARRIE PIERPOINT JOINS AMS
As a senior adviser and consultant

Barrie Pierpoint
Barrie Pierpoint, known to the industry due to his Non-Executive Directorship at DMMP Ltd, has joined Amenity Business Services as a senior adviser and consultant.

Amenity Business Services is a specialist providers of bespoke professional business support in the boardroom and at director and senior management level for growing SMEs, PLCs and larger organisations, for the amenity sector.

Barrie Pierpoint has spent over 25 years at PLC chief executive and managing director level within a range of service industries including sports, leisure, education and the general amenity market. During this time he has gained a reputation for developing new opportunities and driving businesses forward. A former group PLC chief executive, he has overseen a stock market flotation and developed new subsidiary companies, capitalising on business mainstream activities. He joins a specialist management team of senior directors and advisers who between them have over 50 years experience at board level.

Barrie says he is delighted to join the company. He said, "Businesses may find themselves with a gap in their management skills and we bridge this gap while they look for the right person, or we save the expense of a permanent executive. Making our customers’ businesses a success is our business; we know some businesses try to do everything themselves and without the necessary expertise in many areas of their business they struggle, through costly mistakes, errors and misjudgements, creating many unnecessary other problems.”
