Terry and Gary join the Board
Celtic Mowers announced the appointment of two new directors on 3 December.
Long-serving Terry Flynn, who joined the company in 1988 and Gary Evans who started full-time in 2013, have joined founder Kim Davies and his daughter Emma on the Board of the Swansea-based garden machinery dealership. The company, started in 1970 has grown to become one of the leading dealers in Wales and today occupies a prominent roadside site on the outskirts of Swansea. Kim Davies says, "As a family business that has been serving South Wales and the surrounding areas for over 45 years, these appointments show our commitment to the future of the business. 2015 has been an exceptional year for us, and with new management team. we are well placed for the future".
Today, Kim is semi-retired but is in the business most days, whilst Terry looks after operational matters and Gary oversees the finance function. As well being a director of Celtic Mowers, Emma (Gary's wife) runs her own accountancy practice from withing the Fabian Way premises.
Gary says, "Both Terry and I are delighted to have the opportunity to play an important part in the exciting future development of Celtic Mowers."
