TWO NEW RECRUITS AT HUSQVARNA
Sales and marketing team expand
Husqvarna has expanded its sales and marketing team in the UK with the appointment of Emma Willson and Thomas Wilson-Neale.
 Emma Willson & Thomas Wilson-Neale
Emma, who has joined as Marketing Specialist, will be based at the Group’s UK headquarters in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, whilst Thomas has joined as a field based Automower® Specialist.
They will both work alongside the sales and marketing team as the business says they are looking forward to one of its busiest years.
Joining from commercial vehicle hire company, Northgate PLC, Emma has over 5 years’ experience in the Marketing sector.
In her role as Husqvarna Marketing Specialist, Emma will take on the organisation of key company events and trade shows while also being responsible for website management, social media, e-marketing, promotion and branding. Working closely with the sales teams, she will bring a blend of experience and enthusiasm to the role.
Emma said: “I’m looking forward to my new challenge with Husqvarna. There’s a lot going on in the business and I’m excited about getting involved in these projects and helping the company to grow.”
Joining from LG Electronics, Thomas brings a wealth of experience to his role as a field based Automower Specialist. Having spent 3 years as LG Business Development Manager and 3 years as EE Assistant Manager, Thomas is looking forward to a new challenge.
He said: “Working for Husqvarna will be very different to telecommunications, but I’m excited about the challenge. The production of Automower just continues to increase and with awareness starting to pick up across the UK I’m looking forward to the challenge this rapidly growing sector will bring."
In his role as a field based Automower®Specialist, Thomas will work closely with the Husqvarna dealer network on the education and development of robotic lawnmowing. Assisting dealers with scheduled training sessions and by physically and theoretically demonstrating the benefits of the range, Thomas will work as a support tool.
The company say Thomas will act as an approachable and contactable link between themselves and their authorised dealer network. The role will be focussed on helping to grow the robotic mower market together with dealers.
