Domestic Sales - Outlet Manager
Winchester Garden Machinery Ltd has a position available for a Domestic Sales Outlet Manager based in Liss, Hampshire. Responsibilities include managing the day to day running of the branch, providing leadership for the sales, service and parts departments whilst optimising profitable growth of the business. The successful candidate will be expected to execute the business plan to achieve financial performance for the depot working towards established goals.
Essential Duties:
- Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with all existing and new customers and resolves any critical customer issues.
- Ensures that appropriate communication takes place within and across all departments to implement best practices and consistent processes for all departments within the organisation.
- Communicates the dealership values, principles and vision within the outlet location and implements overall policies, processes and changes in any department.
- Ensures the successful planning and execution of marketing activities and events.
- Oversees maintenance, security and a professional appearance of the facility and property for the location.
Skills & Qualifications: (preferred but not essential) - Experience in a retail environment
- Experience as a Sales, Service or Parts Manager
- Familiar with the products we sell (John Deere, Honda, Stihl etc)
- Experience dealing with critical customer issues
- Solid analytical, business planning, problem solving and communication skills

Domestic Salesperson
Winchester Garden Machinery has a position available for a Domestic Salesperson based in Winchester, Hampshire. Responsibilities are to sell domestic grounds care equipment to new and existing customers. This role is primarily showroom based, with site visits and customer deliveries to be carried out as required.
Essential Duties:
1. Represents the Dealership in the sale of machinery to customer’s and builds strong and loyal relationships with customers. 2. Executes all steps in sales process to achieve high sales performance. 3. Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and services potentially saleable by the dealership. 4. Conducts new equipment demonstrations and executes goods delivery and follow up of sales. 5. Communicates with other departments as required for the sales process.
Skills & Qualifications: (preferred but not essential)
• Sales experience and industry knowledge is an advantage • Excellent customer relationship skills • Excellent communication skills and the ability to co-ordinate daily activities with colleagues • Ability to use standard computer applications, internet functions & sales tools • Availability to work extended hours and weekends
