UK GRAIN EVENT CANCELLED
Due to easier than expected harvest

UK Grain has been cancelled this year
UK Grain, the specialist event geared to grain handling, drying, storage and marketing, organised by FarmSmart Events, which was due to take place on 5th November at the East of England Showground, has been cancelled.

The organisers have stated that this was due to an eaiser than expected harvest this year for most growers, combined with current low grain prices.

In a statement Andrew Newbold of FarmSmart said, "We pride ourselves on delivering the right event, to the right audience, at the right time, and this autumn is clearly not the right time for UK Grain to run. Most producers had a very straightforward harvest, with low drying requirements, and this, combined with the low grain price, has significantly reduced the demand for such an event this year."

FarmSmart will now turn their attentions to the Precision Farming 2015 event which is scheduled to take place at Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Societies showground on 4th March 2015.
