Globe Tools, manufacturer of the GreenWorks range of battery powered machinery, says that to ensure they stay at the fore of development, a major investment into Europe is being made.

The foundations are in and construction has started on a 900m2 facility in Jönköping, Sweden, which will be open in February 2017.

First recruitment is underway of 20 people who will be tasked with development of 82v commercial petrol-less tools, robotic mowers & pressure washers.

Scott Lelliott, International Sales Manager for Greenworks Tools Europe, said, "This is a big signal to the market about the intent of the Greenworks brand in the commercial sector of the industry.

"Already well established in domestic tools, Greenworks has seen an increase adoption of the 82v battery system into the professional customer base."
