HONDA POWER SPONSOR AWARD
At Garden Media Guild Awards

Honda UK's Power Equipment division are sponsoring the New Media of the Year category of the 2016 Garden Media Guild Awards to be held at the Savoy Hotel in London on Thursday November 24.

The Garden Media Guild Awards celebrate the best in the world of horticulture communications recognising talent and skill in the gardening media.

This will be the first time that Honda UK has been a sponsor of the event, the New Media of the Year award will be presented by Honda ambassador, Danny Clarke, otherwise known as 'The Black Gardener' and will honour excellence in the development of digital products in the horticultural publishing world.

"This is a great category for Honda to be sponsoring", said Stephen Morris, Head of Power Products, Honda UK. "New media is now integral channel within the world of communication, and for the gardeners, digital magazines and apps can really bring features to life and can be so very inspirational. Honda is recognised as a ground breaker in so many areas of technology, this sponorship is a perfect fit."

Chairman of Media Guild awards, Clare Foggett, said "The Garden Media Guild and I are delighted that Honda are to support our annual Awards Lunch by sponsoring the New Media of the Year Award. This exciting new category will be hotly contested - we have entries from some great new apps launched in this past year, transforming the way gardeners access the information they need. What a fitting category for Honda, whose cutting edge products transform the way we garden."
