BDC Systems Ltd, the supplier of grain care equipment and machinery for both on-farm and industrial applications, has announced the appointment of John Wilson as Northern Area Sales Manager.

Based near Melrose, Roxburghshire, John is ideally located to support BDC customers in Scotland and the North of England. He will be backed up by a team of experienced technical, design and administration staff from the company’s headquarters in Wiltshire.

John joins BDC from G Marshall Tractors Ltd in the Scottish Borders where his role was in business development. Prior to that John spent many years with agricultural machinery supplier J Rutherford Earlston Ltd in roles including MD and building & installation manager, where he oversaw the grain handling and fixed equipment department in a project management capacity.

John said, "My many years’ experience will allow me to support the development and continuing growth of the business in the area, working very closely with the dealers and end users."
