A choice of seven MultiTools
- Making light work of lawn care
For removing matted grass, moss or weeds that can suffocate a lawn, the MultiTool de-thatcher with its rotating steel tines, is an easy, quick and efficient alternative to hours of labour with a manual rake. To finish off lawns with a clean-cut edge, the MultiTool edge trimmer quickly and effortlessly trims grass around paths, borders and drives.
- The easy way to loose, fertile soil
If fertilizer or compost is to be worked into the soil, or when soil needs to be loosened and broken up, the MultiTool pick tines make light work of even heavy soil. The bolo tines are ideal for preparing a fine tilth for planting, marking out drills or loosening the soil - creating the best conditions for strong plant growth. A choice of one or two blades allow precise hoeing, even in narrow gaps between planting rows, and as with the pick tines, an accessory weight kit is available to increase the force acting on the tines.
Manually sweeping dirt, leaves and gravel from patios or paths is hard work and can be physically quite demanding. The answer is the sweeper attachment on the MultiSystem. Its soft yet rugged rubber blades clean paths and paved areas quickly and thoroughly, and it is also an excellent tool for clearing water or snow. Heavier dirt, beaten earth, stains and splashes of mud can be removed with the MultiTool bristle brush, which is ideal for cleaning deep crevices and cracks in uneven surfaces or natural stone paving.
Easy power - the MultiEngine and frame
At the heart of the STIHL MultiSystem, the 0.75 kW MultiEngine is powerful, lightweight and smooth-running, and special features like the manual fuel primer and a carburettor compensator enable easier start-ups and consistent performance. The engine is mounted on an ergonomically designed frame with easily operable controls, and MultiTools can be fitted and removed in next to no time, simply and efficiently without needing tools. The machine's low centre of gravity encourages the user's comfortable working posture, and a wheel kit (now supplied as standard) gives extra stability when using the power sweep and bristle brush. When not in use the frame folds over neatly for compact storage and transport handles make it is easy to carry, and are equally used to hang the machine on
