MORE MAJOR BRANDS TO DEMO AT MAP LIVE
And STRI to speak

MAP Live

With the first event in the MAP Live series of demo days providing interesting opportunities for visitors and exhibitors alike, the organisers say the second southern event on 15th May is already ramping up to have more than twice the brands represented, with still more pending.

One notable speaker is Piers Corbyn, the owner of Weather Action, the company which makes weather forecasts up to a year in advance

Also speaking will be Stella Rixon, Regional Agronomist with the STRI,  who will be delivering a talk entitled,  Measuring and Managing Sports Turf Performance.

Carolyn Beadsmoore, STRI's Head of Sales & Marketing, said,  “STRI is pleased to announce their support for the MAP Live 2013 events running across the UK from April to July. One of STRI’s aims is to share information and knowledge and these events support that goal and provide a platform for learning in the industry at a regional level. STRI encourages all sports turf managers to attend to see first-hand the latest techniques, machinery and products being used for effective and sustainable turf management.”

At Ardingly, participants and brands already confirmed include: BAGMA; Campey Turfcare, Imants, Vredo, Koro, Dakota, Raycam, and Votex. Fleet (Line Markers) will be marking out 6 scaled-down pitches. Ernest Doe will bring E-Z-GO; Ransomes Jacobsen; Case IH; Iseki; New Holland; Kawasaki; Yamaha; Wiedenmann; Hyundai; and BOMAG. JSM demonstrate kit from Toro; Hayter; Amazone; Echo Power Tools; TYM Tractors; and JSM.

Registration is free - visit www.mapliveltd.co.uk and click the register now button. All pre-registered visitors are entered into a free prize draw to win an iPad and weather forecasts from Piers Corbyn.
