MECHANIC (Worcester Branch)

Experienced Mechanic required to join our enthusiastic team in Worcester.
Applicants must have a thorough working knowledge of maintenance/repairing wide range of Agricultural and Horticulture machinery. Be able to work on 2 and 4 stroke,petrol and diesel engines. Clean driving license required. Must be reliable and able to work as a team. Good rates of pay, overtime available. Further on going manufacturers training will be given

Monday – Friday – 8.30am – 5.30pm. Will be required to work Saturday’s at overtime rate in summer months

DRIVER/PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION MECHANIC (Worcester Branch)

For inspection of machinery, goods inward, and general warehouse duties. Collection & delivery of equipment to end users and our depots. Applicants preferably to have a working knowledge of maintenance/repairing a wide range of horticultural machinery, be conversant with 2 & 4 stroke engines. Clean driving license required. Must be reliable and able to work as a team. Forklift licence an advantage.

Monday – Friday – 8.30am – 5.30pm. Will be required to work Saturday’s at overtime rate in summer months

SALES ADVISOR (Worcester Branch)

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity is available at our Worcester branch for a Sales Person.

We’re looking for an experienced sales person to develop both new and existing business within the region. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, enjoy dealing with customers and work well as part of a dedicated sales team. Must be computer literate, numerate with a pleasant and courteous telephone manner. Previous sales experience is required, but product training will be given. Full driving licence is essential.

Monday – Friday – 8.30am – 5.30pm. Will be required to work Saturday’s at overtime rate in summer months.

WORKSHOP APPRENTICE (Worcester Branch and Hereford Branch)

An exciting opportunity is available within our workshop for a Workshop Apprentice. You will be given full training in the form of "Land Based Service Engineering Operations Course" over 4 years. This will be split into blocks at College and the remaining time at our workshop in either Worcester or Hereford working alongside our trained engineers.

The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and willing to carry out distance learning and homework assignments.

Working Week: 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday

Weekly Wage:(£2.73 minimum)

Training to be Provided:

Diploma in Work-Based Land Based Engineering Operations

Advanced Diploma in Work Based Land Based Engineering Operations

Technical Certificate

Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT

Manufacturers courses when applicable & available

Learning Provider: South Worcestershire College
