SIMON TULLETT BOWS OUT
Dominic Mason to take over with new company

Dominic Mason and Simon Tullett

Simon Tullett Machinery is to have a new man at the helm from January 2015. After 24 years in business, Simon Tullett has decided it is time for a succession management plan, and the results of discussions with interested parties has led Simon to accept an arrangement whereby the current Sales Manager, Dominic Mason, purchases the company.

Simon Tullett says, "This was the arrangement that was by far the most satisfactory to Simon, as his major concern was to do the best by his valued team of employees, who he realises have been instrumental in bringing the company to its current commanding market position."

Dominic Mason is already a well known personality in the groundcare industry. He first worked for STM as a young man doing his Saturday job, then holiday working, before going to Harper Adams College to complete a course in Agri-Food Marketing and Business Studies. He has been with the company in a full time Sales role since June 1996, leading to his current position as Sales Manager.

The company name will simply change to STM Co Ltd, and the product range of SCAG pedestrian and ride-on mowers, RoboFlail remote control mowers, Humus equipment and Wisconsin Engineering garden tractors will remain, with plans for further additions in the near future.

The company is still in the same place, but now uses the revised postal address:

STM Co. Ltd, Farm Buildings, Homelea Farm, Bearley Road, Aston Cantlow, Warwickshire B95 6LD, Telephone numbers and all contact details remain the same.
