GERALD DOHERTY
Death of B&S Ireland sales manager

Gerald Doherty

It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that on Friday 18th September, Gerald Doherty, a valued member of the Briggs & Stratton UK team, passed away peacefully at home after losing his battle with cancer.

Gerald joined the company in November 2014 as the area sales manager for Ireland and, despite only having been with Briggs & Stratton a relatively short time, he had many friends, both old and new who will miss him greatly.

Gerald was very popular within the industry, having worked within it since 1988. He will be missed by all dealers and distributors in Ireland with whom he not only had great working relationships, but also many great friendships.

Briggs & Stratton's Ian Small said, "This is a great loss to the UK team and our thoughts and best wishes are with Gerald's family at this difficult time."
