HANDY TO DISTRIBUTE SANLI
After sales support to remain at Abingdon

Sanli lawnmowers and garden products will be distributed in the UK and Ireland exclusively by two major distributors from 1st October 2013

Handy Distribution Ltd will become the exclusive distributor for Sanli products in England, Scotland and Wales, while Tucks O’Brien Ltd will become responsible for distribution for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Meanwhile, Sanli (UK) Ltd will become the Technical, Spares and Warranty Centre for Europe at its base in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

“As far as our dealers and trade customers are concerned, it’s virtually business as usual. Margins remain unchanged, and our trading style and marketing activity will be unaltered,” said Simon Del-Nevo, managing director of Sanli (UK) Ltd. “Having established the brand in the UK in recent years, this is the next step in the future of Sanli. Both Handy Distribution Ltd and Tucks O’Brien have well-established and well-developed infrastructures and I am pleased to announce that they will be exclusive distributors for Sanli in their respective areas.”

The Sanli European Technical, Spares and Warranty Centre will be managed by Claire Morris and Mark Winfield will continue his role as technical services manager.

Simon, who will become vice president for sales and marketing in Europe, said the move was part of a wider plan by parent company the S&C Engine Company to focus investment in new product development in the garden machinery division, with new products tol be introduced to the range in the near future. “These product ranges will then be marketed by a series of exclusive distributors appointed to handle key markets. This process has already happened in France, and the UK and Irish market will be the next to go through such a change,” he added.

Sanli's Colin Bence and Alan Patton are joining Handy Distribution. Colin to take on a Business Development role whilst Alan will represent Handy in the Northern area.

Sanli, which sells a range of petrol lawnmowers and other gardening equipment including brush cutters, chainsaws, hedge cutters, blowers and generators, supplies almost 200 dealers across the UK.
