"We had extremely productive talks and are looking forward to implementing a range of joint activities at international, regional and local level," said Campbell Scott, Massey Ferguson Director Sales Engineering and Brand Development.
One initiative will see the establishment of a new pan-European award scheme - CEJA Ambassadors - recognising the achievements of innovative young farmers. In addition, CEJA will participate in key Massey Ferguson events such as the Vision of the Future to be held in France in August 2014. Massey Ferguson will also provide keynote speakers at CEJA events and support the organisation in its communications activities.
"Our partnership agreement with CEJA brings together a new generation of machinery with a new generation of farmers," Mr Scott said. "We are delighted to be collaborating with this important and dynamic organisation. As an industry we need to support and nurture the next generation of farmers."
CEJA represents around 1.7 million young farmers across Europe and has a primary goal to encourage young people into farming.
