SCOTLAND'S BEST LAWN
New category in B&S sponsored comp

Scotland's Best Lawn
A Kilmarnock man has been crowned as the owner of Scotland's best lawn.

Andrew Moore initially entered 2013's Britain's Best Lawn competition, which is sponsored by Briggs & Stratton, where he was declared runner-up, but judges later decided to create a new Scottish title to recognise his perfect turf.

Andrew cuts his pride and joy every day, and feeds it every two weeks in order to keep the grass looking at its best. Judges described Andrew's lawn as "one of the best they had ever seen".

The competition is run in conjunction with the weekly magazine, Garden News, and through Briggs & Stratton’s UK wide dealer network.

The organisers of the competition said, "If you think that your lawn has what it takes to be a winner, or if you work hard to create a beautiful lawn, then we want to reward and recognise your hard work."
