Regional Technical Specialist

A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Technician based at our office in Winsford, Cheshire.


The scope of the role is to provide general technical support of the engine, spare parts and Home Power business for the UK/Ireland market.

The key areas of responsibility in this role are:

  • Support the Technical Service Manager in providing technical support to distributors, dealers and OEMs
  • Support the Technical Service Manager in providing training for the distributor and dealer channel
  • Handle warranty claims and support the Technical Service Manager in warranty related matters
  • Support the Technical Service Manager in application engineering reviews and technical follow-up with OEMs on new / problematic existing engine applications
  • Updating of training material / technical documentation

Skill Requirements:

  • Good organisational skills in order to manage several tasks concurrently with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • A professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
  • IT skills should include the use of Excel, Word and Email
  • Good training skills will be beneficial in order to support the Technical Service Manager in delivering dealer training
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an engineering environment with focus on fault finding and repair with customer interaction.
