JOHN HOWDEN
Zetor md dies just ahead of Royal Highland Show

John Howden
Zetor UK md John Howden passed away on 20 June, shortly after setting up his stand ahead of the Royal Highland Show.

A joint statement from Zetor a.s. and Zetor UK said, "John Howden was acting as Managing Director in our company and was highly respected as a superior and appreciated as a colleague. His professional competence, commitment and reliability were widely valued. For our customers, he was a competent expert and consultant. His death has touched us all. In grateful appreciation of his merits and with sincere sadness we have to say good-bye to a man whom we will never forget. On behalf of the company, our deepest condolences go to his family and close  friends."

John had been with Coventry-based Zetor UK for over 30 years. The company was formed in 1965, and became a subsidary of Czech company HTC in 2003 when it acquired the Zetor brand.

John Howden's funeral has already taken place.
