NEW COMPANY OFFERS KABOODLES
UTV modular racking system

A new concept to help Utility Vehicle owners get more out of their UTV has been launched by a new company with long experience of the machines.

Kaboodle modular racking system for UTVs

Kaboodle is a modular racking system for the rear cargo bed of any UTV or utility buggy to allow the safe storage and transport of a wide range of tools and equipment on the vehicle.

The company says it enables the operator to work more efficiently with all of his tools easily to hand, protects valuable equipment by avoiding scratches and dents from sliding around in the load bed and ensures the safety of the driver and bystanders.

Kaboodle starts with a base fitting kit which includes a uniquely-designed pair of hoops. To this the customer then simply adds the features they require for the task in hand, such as racking points for tools, mesh panels to contain loose materials, lockable roller shutters or a weather cover.

Designed and built by UTV Products in High Legh, Cheshire, Kaboodle's inspiration comes from the company founders' experiences with these machines.

Managing director Martin Wickes has been in the golf buggy and UTV market for 22 years, including eight years as the proprietor of Golfbuggyhire which provided specialist short term vehicle hire for events, TV and film.

Utility vehicles are a key element of this business type and the accessory idea arose out of wanting to broaden their market uses and maximise return on investment. Dave McKenna, a project engineer at Golfbuggyhire has joined UTV Products as 'Professor of Innovation'.

Kaboodle versions are currently available for Toro Workman, Kioti, Cushman, Kawasaki, John Deere, Kubota, Club Car utility vehicles, but can also be built to order for other vehicles. Prices start from £465+VAT for the basic modular frame, plus accessories such as the front and side mesh panel kit which adds £140+VAT.

UTV Products is establishing a dealer network but can also supply the Kaboodle direct.
