Henton & Chattell

Henton & Chattell are looking to appoint an experienced Parts Advisor to join our well established, expanding and successful business. As a Parts Advisor you will be working as an integral part of the Customer Service Department providing outstanding customer service to our trade dealers.

Your duties will include;

  • Providing help and advice to clients and customers, handling communications courteously by telephone and via email.
  • Investigating and solving customers' issues.
  • Advise trade customers on product ranges or alternatives.
  • Processing trade dealer queries and orders on computerised system.
  • Liaising with suppliers.
  • Maintaining accurate data and information.
  • Strong team working, to work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives, sharing knowledge and skills.
  • Parts diagram look up

Experience;

  • Competent in the use of Windows applications including the Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Decision making and problem solving ability.
  • Organisation skills - with the ability to prioritise.
  • Work well under pressure, both within a team environment and as an individual,
  • Self motivated and have a professional manner.
  • Parts interpretation knowledge.

Previous experience of a phone based customer service or within a motor factor environment and/or previous parts experience is required.
