A US man has blown his leg off – whilst shooting at a lawnmower!  David Pressley (32) of Geogia, and reported to be President of the local Mensa branch, has been filmed shooting at a ride-on lawnmower in the woods near his home with a semi-automatic rifle.

Before starting the shooting spree however, Pressley had packed the mower with several pounds of Tannerite, an extremely volatile mix of ammonium nitrate and aluminium powder that explodes when struck by a high velocity bullet.

Pressley is seen in the video, which was taken by friends, advancing on the mower and opening fire with several rounds. As he get closer, the mower suddenly explodes and a large lump of shrapnel strikes Pressley, severing his leg below the knee.
