ATV & SIDE BY SIDE SALES INCREASE
2014 sees a rise of 10.2%
The number of All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and Side by Side units recorded by the AEA ATV/Quad Group increased by 10.2% in 2014 to 10,763 units.
The machines covered in this enquiry are those of a type sold mainly into agriculture and do not cover leisure or sports unit.
Group Chairman, Phil Everett of Polaris Britain Ltd, said, "This was an encouraging result following several years of decline for ATVs in particular with a near 20% rise in units seen last year. In contrast the market for Side by Side vehicles has been rising over time but has remained static over the last two years."
