70% OF SALTEX 2015 EXHIBITORS REBOOKED FOR THIS YEAR
November's event taking shape

The organisers of the SALTEX exhibition have announced that more than 70 per cent of their 2015 exhibitors have already re-booked for the 2016 event – which will be once again held at the NEC, Birmingham on 2-3 November.

Official figures released by the organsiners show that 2015's event attracted 8,700 unique visitors.

SALTEX event director Matthew Knight said, “It’s been great to see so many 2015 exhibitors re-book for SALTEX this year - I believe that proves just how successful the event was. This industry is full of passionate people who truly love what they do and they deserve to have a trade show that helps put the industry on the map - both nationally and beyond.

“SALTEX’s potential is absolutely massive; last year the show attracted a number of international visitors from 45 countries - which shows that the exhibition is really starting to gain a global reputation.

“It is our job to bring the exhibition into the 21st century and we are confident that we can take SALTEX to the next level. In fact we are already looking at new and exciting features which could improve the show even further - so watch this space!”

As well as the main exhibition SALTEX offers extra show content for visitors – including Ask the Expert, free turf care advice from the Institute of Groundsmanship’s regional pitch advisors; career advice at the Young Groundsmen’s Conference, and 1,655 minutes of free seminars within the LEARNING LIVE education programme. It has been confirmed that this year's event will again include these key features, as well as the IOG’s annual Industry Awards dinner.
