BURDEN BROS JOIN LSE LIST
One of 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain

Dale Burden

John Deere dealership Burden Bros Agri Ltd (BBA), with branches in Stockbury, Kent and Framfield, East Sussex, has recently joined the list of the London Stock Exchange's 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain - the second John Deere dealership to do so in 2015, and the third altogether in the last two years.

Burden Bros Agri Ltd is part of the BB4 Group of Companies which, in addition to the newly listed LSE 1000 dealership, includes a well-established and large commercial farming business, a highly regarded agricultural contracting company, an internationally recognised used equipment & farm machinery business, a hotel/restaurant and an event centre.

"We are delighted to be recognised by the LSE for the growth and expansion achieved since we became a John Deere dealer in 2007," said managing director Dale Burden. "Our sales area includes parts of Kent, Surrey and Sussex, and much of the kudos must go to our team of employees, who have shown total commitment to customer service while we have been developing our franchise territory.

"We realise that customers have a choice about where to go for new equipment and after-sales support, and it has been our number one priority to provide all our customers with the best support experience in the region. This award is a truly wonderful recognition of all the hard work that everyone has invested in our business.

"We are looking to expand further and are currently offering career opportunities for apprentice and qualified technicians as well as sales professionals and marketing & administrative staff, to join a progressive and stable organisation that has its eyes set firmly on a great future."

The LSE 1000 report is a celebration of the UK's fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized businesses. To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.
