SALTEX TO INCLUDE PLAYFAIR
Exhibition to move from Stoneleigh

SALTEX

The 2013 PlayFair exhibition is moving to be included within the IOG SALTEX event at Windsor Racecourse.

In a deal struck by PlayFair organiser Brintex Events, with the support of the Association of Play Industries (API), PlayFair’s move to co-locate with IOG SALTEX is a welcome development.

Vice chair of the API, Michael Hoenigmann, said: “After five successful years of PlayFair at Stoneleigh Park, an excellent opportunity arose to run PlayFair alongside the IOG SALTEX annual trade exhibition.  It will give the outdoor play industry an ideal platform to promote its services and products to a wider and national audience of buyers and specifiers in the outdoor amenity sector.”

The IOG has run IOG SALTEX, the UK’s leading event for groundscare, sports, amenities, estates and green space management at Windsor Racecourse since 1979. The event regularly attracts more than 10,000 trade visitors and 350 exhibitors. Brintex is the newly-installed show organiser for the 2013 event.

Commenting on the partnership, Geoff Webb, the chief executive of the IOG, said: “We are excited and enthusiastic about the partnership between the IOG and the API, and that PlayFair@SALTEX will form an integral part of the IOG SALTEX exhibition profile in September 2013. With a new team now in place to sell and market the event, we are working hard on all aspects of the show – from turfcare to commercial vehicles – by providing added impetus and innovation as we go forward.”

Brintex Events is delighted with the arrangement. IOG SALTEX sales manager, Jon Gibson, said: “Building on the success and continuation of the PlayFair exhibition is important, and by moving PlayFair to Windsor we will enhance the visitor and exhibitor experience for everyone.”
